Fashion’s Night Out gets bigger every year and 2012 was no exception, especially at Bergdorf Goodman.  The iconic NYC emporium celebrates its 111th anniversary next Tuesday, the 11th.

I made a beeline to my favorite store in the world last night for FNO, to see it in all of its glory and stopped short on 5th Avenue at first sight.  

Bergdorf Goodman was beribboned in purple, like a GIANT gift to ME!

Shoppers and revelers packed 5th Avenue in front of Bergdorf Goodman and the line to get into the party spanned the length the store.  I didn’t mind waiting on the fast-moving queue and snapped photos of their over the top windows laden with merchandise designed for the celebration.

I’m still admiring last night’s souvenirs.

I had to have a copy of Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf Goodman and queued on yet another line on the 3rd floor for Sara James Mnookin, the author, to sign my copy.  I’ll stash away my paper crown, bag and mini water bottle to remember last night’s revelry.  My husband will understand.
