I’m sorry it took me so very long to respond to your letter. I really like your idea. If we had guns that shot chocolate, not only would our country be safer, if would be happier. People love chocolate.
You are a good boy, Joe Biden.”

Our favorite Chocolatiers include François Payard, Max Brenner, and Serendipity 3; we also love Endangered Species Chocolate, which supports a cause near and dear to our hearts with an indulgence that is, well, near and dear to our hearts.
Recently our friends at Olé Imports, a Spanish Wine Importing Company based out of New Rochelle, New York, were kind enough to send over a case of their Naverán Brut Vintage Cava for our annual retail partner Spring Mimosa Event. We have to say – it’s a summer MUST HAVE. It’s incredibly light and makes a fantastic Mimosa.
Cava is sparkling white wine, and is Spain’s answer to France’s champagne. The Naverán Vineyard is located in northeastern Spain, a few miles south of Barcelona, where the Naverán family has been producing wine since 1901. The Brut Vintage boasts zesty floral and citrus aromas, and we agreed that -gasp – we may actually like it better than champagne! The high altitude of the estate allows the grapes to retain more natural acidity, which results in wines that are tangy, light, and fresh.
So, if you’re looking for a tasty alternative to pricey champagne, take our advice: Cava is the way to go. To find out where Olé wines are carried near you, click here.
